As the Assistant Vice President for Adult and Online Education at Rhode Island College, Miko Nino’s main responsibility is overseeing the development of new online, non-traditional adult, and graduate programs. In his role, he focuses on analyzing industry trends and gaps in the workforce to create programs that prepare students for their future careers, with an emphasis on developing practical skills. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the Czech Republic how to teach online, allowing him to gain valuable insights into improving education from both an administrative and faculty perspective.
Throughout his years in education, Nino has seen significant changes driven by technology.
