ENP Technologies Selected by Shell Game Changer
Houston, TX – ENP Technologies LLC, a Houston based technologies company has been selected by Shell Game Changer to develop a blockchain-based solution to facilitate the use of master data across the energy industry.
ENP Technologies was selected after in depth review by Shell GameChanger from various solutions submitted for a public Call for Solutions. Shell GameChanger will provide 150,000 USD in seed-funding over a period of 6 months.
ENP Technologies’ solution will be a blockchain-based master data management of Industry wide Equipment Catalogue for the energy industry that will be transparent, immutable, decentralized, validated, and will ensure ease of search (for both equipment & assets) and interoperability with other systems.
Data is the key for the digital transformation across industry. Meta data is the foundation for master data that includes information about equipment’s materials, products and vendors amongst others. This data forms the core of a digital framework for the energy industry. Enterprise asset management solutions require these meta data to build the solutions that predict failure or maintenance needs of equipment.
ENP Technologies’ ambition is to provide industry of all sizes with highest quality of metadata solutions to accelerate digital transformation.
Our Approach
Over the next year, ENP Technologies will develop the master data management solution. Demonstrate metadata collection from various sources & validation towards a Proof of Concept with Shell and explore further commercial rollout on the longer term.
We are grateful and excited to work with Shell to develop such a needed solution to streamline metadata collection, validation and loading by the industry for the industry to bring a transformation in equipment metadata flow.
